Forma privacy policy
Last updated: 27 October 2026
This policy explains what data Forma, Myrtus’s training app for iPhone and Apple Watch, handles. In short: Forma does not collect personal data. What you enter in the app stays on your devices.
Who we are
María Dolores Gálvez Martínez, trading as “Myrtus”. Tax ID (NIF) 48703658P. C/ Reina Victoria 18, 30820 Alcantarilla, Murcia (Spain). Email: dev@myrtus.es.
What the app stores
- Your plan, the workouts you log (exercises, weights, reps, times and how they felt) and your settings.
- Your starting-point answers: your experience, the equipment you have and, only if you choose to give it, your body weight.
All of it is stored on your iPhone. Your Apple Watch gets from the iPhone what it needs for the day’s workout and sends back the sets you log, directly between your two devices.
What it doesn’t do
- No accounts, no sign-up.
- It doesn’t send your data to Myrtus or anyone else: the app connects to no server, ours or anyone’s.
- No ads, analytics or tracking, and it doesn’t use the advertising identifier.
- It doesn’t access your location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone or the Health app.
Notifications
If you allow them, Forma tells you when your rest is over. These are local notifications scheduled by your own device; they go through no server.
Backups
If you back up your iPhone to iCloud or a computer, the backup includes Forma’s data like any other app’s. Apple handles those backups according to your settings; Myrtus has no access to them.
TestFlight beta
If you test the beta, Apple passes us through TestFlight your invitation name and email, crash reports, and the feedback and screenshots you choose to send. We use them only to run the beta, fix bugs and improve the app, based on your voluntary participation (GDPR art. 6.1.a). We delete them once they’re no longer useful, and at the latest 12 months after the beta ends. Apple handles them under its privacy policy.
Deleting your data
Deleting Forma from your iPhone and Apple Watch deletes all its data. As we don’t have it, there’s nothing to ask us for. To leave the beta, open TestFlight and choose “Stop Testing”.
Your rights
For the beta data we receive through TestFlight, you can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to dev@myrtus.es. You can also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
Changes
If a future version changes how Forma handles your data (for example, to save workouts to Health or sync them with iCloud), we’ll update this page before releasing it.
